SOME INFORMATION ABOUT FACEOOK BY RAJ_THE_HACKER

How do I remove or cancel a friend request I sent to someone?
1.      Go to that person's timeline
2.      Hover over the Friend Request Sent button at the top of the page
3.      Click Cancel Request from the dropdown menu

What is blocking? What happens when I block someone?

Blocking someone limits them from viewing things you share on your timeline. Most ties you currently have with the people you block will be broken (ex: friendship connections). Blocking is reciprocal, so you won’t be able to do things like start a Facebook chat or message with the person, or see things they post on their timeline.
Keep in mind that blocking someone may not prevent all communications or interactions such as in apps or groups and only affects your experience on Facebook, not elsewhere on the web.
Note: Removing a block will not restore the friend connection. If you block a friend and then remove that person from your block list, you'll need to send them a new friend request.

Where can I view my hidden friend requests?

You can view a list of your hidden friend requests on the Friend Requests page.

I haven’t sent a friend request in weeks. Why am I suddenly blocked from sending requests?

It’s possible that some of your friend requests have gone unanswered or been marked as unwelcome.
If you’ve been blocked by mistake, we won’t be able to end the block early—but you’ll be able to send friend requests again soon. We’re sorry for the inconvenience! In the meantime, you can still use other Facebook features to connect with your confirmed friends.

I'm blocked even though I know all of the people I’ve sent friend requests to.

Remember that people might not recognize you on Facebook if they haven't seen you recently (ex: an old neighbor or friend from high school). You can help people recognize you by using a real picture of yourself as your profile picture. You can also add an alternate name, like your nickname or maiden name, to your account.
If you’re sure that you personally know all of the people you sent friend requests to and that they want to connect with you, you may have been blocked by mistake.

How can I make sure I don’t get blocked from adding friends again?

Only send friend requests to people you know in real life, like your friends, family, coworkers, or classmates.

  • If you’ve met someone that you’d like to connect with on Facebook but you’re not sure that person will remember you, send a message first to re-introduce yourself.
  • If you’re interested in connecting with someone you don’t know personally (ex: celebrity, athlete, artist), try subscribing to that person instead of sending a friend request. You’ll only see the Subscribe button next to the names of people who allow subscribers.
  • If you’re trying to make new friends, try connecting with Pages and groups that you’re interested or signing up to play social games.
