DOUBLE CLICK ON DRIVE DOES NOT OPEN BY RAJ_THE_HACKER

My dear friends u may have seen this problem someday in Windows XP, when we double click on the any Drive (C:, D:, E:, F:), It does not open and an error Msg comes or some dialog box opens. Yes, you are right; the problem is caused by some virus  called “Autorun.inf”

How to open this, here is the solution

(Make sure, virus has been removed, else problem will be remain as it was.)

When the problem happens, it means that there is a file named “Autorun.inf” in the root drive (i.e. where ur Operating System exist. Usually C:\>) but you will not be able to view it as it is a system file. This file is rarely caught by the anti virus. This file makes sure to run the virus and infect your system.

In my previous post I have told you “How to remove Autorun.inf” Virus.

This is the file which is responsible to run the dialog box that appears on autoplay. 

So this is a useless file for sure.

It is also not easy to delete “Autorun.inf” file easily because it is a read only file.

Thus, follow these steps:

1^st step:-           First of all go to CMD (Command Prompt), then type 

                          “attrib R:\Autorun.inf –s –r –h” without quotes here R is ur drive name which  

                           has problem 

2^nd step:-          Now it is visible and ready to delete.

3^rd step:-           Type del autorun.inf and then press ENTER  (ur file is deleted)

4^th step:-           After deleting the file, close the explorer and open it again or just reboot the

                           computer or Logoff system, your problem is solved.

                            This is the best & easy solution.
